I think you did a really good job making the lighting fit with the music, not just with cues but with color as well. The effect you used was really cool, especially since you used other lights with it. I also really liked your choice to go to almost complete black in some of the transitions, it made it really dramatic. Great job!
I think you did a great job with cue timing. I thought that the hues accented the song very well. The blackouts were a really good transition piece and I thought the flickering lights also were a great accent that went along with the rhythm of the song.
The color pallet you chose for this design was so fitting for this song. The greens, blues, and yellows created a club like atmosphere that fit the lyrics, while also incorporating colors that the artist himself has used in album art before. Your fades were timed perfectly to fluctuate in the chorus, and your strobe at the bridge was nearly flawless. I really enjoyed your project!
First off LOVE this song and it works so well for this project so great job there. Second, the colors you chose perfectly fit the tone and emotion of the song as well as the combination of bouncy light switches and fading ones = incredible. I also really like that the lights are driven by the music but not dictated by them, like there are times when the beat justifies the bouncing lights and then times when that same beat is present and you have it fade instead.
