  1. I think the colors in your project fit really well with the space-related lyrics. I got the impression that the light seen on the right represents the sun (I could be wrong). It's also really cool that got the strobing effect to match the singers' singing style. It adds more emphasis to that point of the song.

  2. I think one of my favorite parts is how you matched your lights to the lyrics in the song. I like how you would have brighter lights during the chorus part of the song. It was also really creative to add the bright orange/yellow light during the line “did you sail across the sun” to represent the sun, like Briahn says, and to have one yellow light during the “shooting star” line. Overall, awesome job!

  3. Your cross fades are part of what make this design so beautiful! Starting slowly, I really enjoyed how the easy transitions flowed along with the melody. My favorite progression though was at about :30, you went from a red front light to a warm yellow back light, followed by another yellow front light. The lyrics here are talking about time passing, and I think the way you chose to fade out each light mimicked the darkness, sunrise, and sun setting. Overall, I really liked it!

  4. The pulsing lights was an interesting choice in that you wanted to focus on the lead singer's fast singing. Just like the previous comments said, I loved that the lights were more centered around the lyrics and vocals than the music. I also loved your color choice, which also went with the lyrics (i.e. sun was yellow, Venus red, etc.) My favorite thing you did was that you beautifully balanced the warmer colors that give a summer feeling with the reds and purple that give a romantic feeling. It was a really nice show!

  5. I'm not sure how much more I can add that others have already, but I'll make an attempt! I really liked the choice of not having a ton of cues. There are times in your performance where there is a significant pause being a changing of the lights. I think a lot of us really went overboard and didn't really take time to focus on how one type of lighting makes the entire scene look. I think that was definitely the most interesting part of your entire project!

  6. I really liked your choice of light coloring, and especially your choices in how you integrated those colors to mean specific things throughout the song. The choices definitely reminded me of an outer space kind of thing and I feel like overall it worked quite nicely. I also feel like the choice of flashing lights @ ~1:50 worked really well for that specific moment. The ending with the fade out also was a cool effect.
