The lighting in this photo creates a feeling of naturalness, and with the way the light passes through the tree on the left really does help to increase this feeling. The minute amount of light that passes through the tree specifically does promote this, but it also is just a nice effect with. I really just love the aesthetic and the palette that the photo contains.
This photo's lighting is much softer and creates a much cooler tone than the last photo. The great thing about this photo, is the color palette is pretty uniform, and the lighting helps with keeping this consistent. The other nice thing about the lighting in this photo is that it helps make the central point of the photo be the main focus, makes it seem much more unique, and overall it just makes it "pop".
I like your photo of the house in the forest, because of the lighting it looks like the ground right in front of the house is dry and the rest is wet. I think the dark colors of the trees make the image feel darker but there are very few shadows and every part of the image is visible. I has a lot of light without showing a lot of light
ReplyDeleteI really like the "tropical" photo at the top, with the sunlight looking almost like a solid mass coming from the left. You can see the rays of light like they're part of a painting, and that just adds an entirely new dimension to the entire landscape.
ReplyDeleteIn the top photo, I like that you can't directly see the light, but you know it's coming from the left. It's interesting how the light is touching the plants in the foreground and the beach in the background, but not the beach in the middle. It makes that part of the beach seem more mysterious and inviting.
ReplyDeleteIn the first picture I love how you can see the light from the sun shining through and how it creates different levels of vibrancy throughout the picture.
ReplyDeleteThe first picture looks heavenly because of the way the light shines down from the sky. It is almost as if the sun is hiding behind the tree. I like how there are some shadows from the trees in the sand, and there are some lighter areas in the water because of the light. In the second picture, I like the way it is difficult to tell where the source of light is. I also think the trees and house are dark and bright colors provide an aesthetic image.
ReplyDeleteThe first picture is really wicked looking and makes me feel as I am standing there with the mist hitting me in the face. I think the lighting has a big part to play in that because if it weren't for the light reflecting off the mist it wouldn't look as realistic.
ReplyDeleteFor the second picture, the shadows of the house and some of the trees make it clear that the light is coming directly from above. That gives focus to each thing in the picture, especially the house.
