Well first of all I really liked your song choice. I think your use of lighting really helped reinforce the lyrics and mood of the song. One thing I noticed after re watching your project was the way you gradually increased the intensity of the lights used throughout the song which was a very nice touch. Another thing i really liked was the fact you ended your project with a single light on rather than turning them all off.
First off, really enjoyed the song! I had heard it before, but I didn't really remember it until you used it for this project! All of your design fit really well with the music as a whole. I particularly liked the use of the warmer yellows when the song referenced sunshine and happiness, and the colder blues when it mentioned saying goodbye. I think my favorite part of your design was the refrain, in which you chose to go back to the single, white back light, really highlighting the sorrow of the piece. Fantastic job overall!
This piece was very beautiful, Casey! I noticed you incorporated the chorus in addition to Jason's voice when changing cues, so I enjoyed that. You also had slow fades which fit perfectly with the slow tempo of the song. This was so good!
I like how the lights build on the words and the song. In this way, I like the way the lights are rhythmic and they go along with the song. The lights match the vocals not just by their presence, but also with the colors. The colors seem to match the vocals which is amazing.
