  1. First, I love the song choice. I had not thought to go to black between light changes; It works really well with the song. I think the mood is effectively represented by your choice in color and your cues, which fit with the natural changes in the music. I was really impressed by the amount of lights you were able to use in a short period of time, for example around 0:41-0:55 in the video. A very impressive project, great job!

  2. I really liked your song choice, right off the bat. Your design was spot on with the tempo and overall tone of the song! Your timed cross fades were incredibly fluid and smooth, and were very appealing to watch. I really enjoyed the multiple times you faded to black--the absence of light, when used in moderation, is incredibly powerful. One thing that just jumped out at me is, toward the end of the song, you timed your fades to the down beat. It was really satisfying, and fit perfectly. Great job all around!

  3. I really, really liked how you did the opening with the instant fades and blackouts. You then slowed down the fades towards the middle to signify that that is not the focus of the piece, then picked it back up at the end. My last comment is that I think it was bold to hold a blackout for so long at ~2:00 mark. I loved it so much.

  4. I think one of my favorite parts for your project was also how well the crossfades looked. I liked how you would only change one or a few lights at a time rather than all of them at once. Also like Alexis and Alexandra said, I liked how you incorporated blackouts because it made me wonder what you were going to do next. I also really liked how you would turn on or turn off lights lights one by one, following the beats of the song (like from 2:33-2:48). I loved the song choice, and I think you did a great job too!

  5. As other people said in previous comments, I absolutely loved the song. Your entire order of cues was obviously very strategically planned out and as a result it looked incredible. Yours was probably my favorite project to watch and the pulse at the end was the perfect final touch.

  6. Big fan of this, I think you used the beat of the song to your advantage to really motivate the lights which is also very impressive with the board set up we had. I think that the colors you chose also really emphasize the tone of the piece. The end is by far my favorite!
