  1. The song is Greek Tragedy by The Wombats (check out their music they have such beautiful, smart lyrics and they are my favorite band)

  2. I really like your song choice! I think you did a great job at matching colors to the mood of the song. The song itself is very upbeat, and I feel like you did a good job at showing that through the intensity of the lights. I like how you would use the lights to create both silhouettes and also keep the objects completely lit. I also like how you didn't always use timed fades, which I think works with the beats (like in the chorus, 1:22-1:40). Overall, I think you did a great job!

  3. The Wombats are one of my favorite bands, so I commend you on your song choice as well! Also, the cues between 0:11-0:15 were phenomenal. I like how you faded in warm colors to the rap of the drum and then pumped the brightness up even more with the added light. In addition, your colors choices were bomb. It seemed like you had a wide variety without looking like rainbow overkill.

  4. There is something to be said about how you used the lighting at the beginning. The slow buildup of lights, which is pretty much just how the song starts, is nicely done. I think you were able to capture the song quite well. The choice of color was also great, I think the variance between the color of light that you chose and the fact that it was the front light also let you do some interesting things. The transitioning between lights was also really well done and I agree with Celeste that the non timed fades just work. This performance was just really well done.

  5. I like how you brought in lights with each instrument entrance at the beginning of the song. It helped establish an upbeat vibe for the rest of the piece, which fit the music well. I liked how you chose a soft pink front light to symbolize the girl he's singing about, it established her as a unique character in a way, similar to the instruments. The contrasting blues help to highlight the message of the song, a broken hearted melancholy, and really helped connect emotionally to the piece. Overall, really enjoyable!
